An essential oil with an intensely earthy identity. The plant itself is in intimacy with the earth, of which it appears as an outgrowth.

Quality

If sweet thyme, with linalool, is a thyme for hilly terrain, strong thyme, with thymol, is more of a plain thyme.

Precautions for use

Food quality : Do not exceed the recommended dose (1 drop 3 times a day, maximum 120mg).
Do not use in case of pregnancy. Not recommended for nursing mothers.
Not to be used by children under 12 years of age.
Not for prolonged use without the advice of a specialist.
Store away from heat and light.
Irritating to the skin and aggressive to the mucous membranes, always dilute it.
Do not apply to an open wound.
For diffusion, combine it with mild essential oils.
